Running for causes that matter.
Running has become an important part of my life — and an opportunity to put the miles toward something bigger. I’m using the road to New York, London and beyond to raise money for organizations doing meaningful work.
Each race is an opportunity to support an organization doing meaningful work. Here’s what’s currently ahead.

WHY I RUN FOR GOOD
My career in music has given me an extraordinary community of friends, colleagues, artists and collaborators around the world. Running has given me a completely different kind of challenge — one that asks for consistency, patience and a willingness to keep showing up.
Ethan Runs for Good brings those two worlds together. It’s a way to take on difficult miles, bring people along for the journey, and use whatever reach I have to support organizations doing genuinely important work.
The goal isn’t simply to collect medals.
It’s to make the miles useful.
THE ROAD AHEAD
Three races. Two extraordinary organizations. One growing commitment to make the miles count.

ABOUT ETHAN
Ethan Popp is a Grammy-nominated music producer, music supervisor, arranger, and three-time Tony Award- and Olivier Award-nominated orchestrator whose work spans Broadway, film, television, recorded music and live entertainment.
Away from the work, Ethan is a husband to Vanessa and father to Aldrin — roles that sit at the center of his life and shape the way he thinks about time, purpose and the example he wants to set. Running has become an important part of that life as well: a source of discipline, challenge, perspective and connection.
Ethan Runs for Good is the charitable running initiative within that broader personal, professional and creative life. Through individual races and fundraising campaigns, Ethan uses the miles he is already training and running to support organizations doing meaningful work for others.
Each race brings a different challenge and a different cause, but the idea behind all of them is simple: make the miles count for something beyond the finish line.
HELP MAKE THE MILES COUNT.
Whether it’s one mile down Fifth Avenue or 26.2 through New York and London, every contribution helps support the organizations I’m proud to run for.
